Five years. . . Five long years since he died. Why is fate so cruel? The champions all survived
calamity. . .except for link when he, urbosa, daruk and Mipha managed to beat the blights that
tried and failed to prevent them from getting to the divine beasts, they made their way back to
rendezvous with Zelda and link. But when they arrived they were greeted by the sight of Zelda
trying to staunch Link's bleeding, he looked worse for wear missing his right arm and his left eye
the bleeding just would not stop. Mipha was near exhaustion after battling waterblight ganon,
she couldn't spare the energy to heal even if she wanted to and she desperately did.
Unfortunately, he bled out right there staring at the sky despite attempts on stopping the
bleeding. After that it was an extremely difficult battle with calamity ganon without him, sealing
ganon away; they had to leave Link's body behind to properly put an end to it. It resulted in the
Divine beasts and Zelda unlocking her power in sealing him away then they went back to
retrieve the fallen knight's body only to find it's gone it was as if the ground swallowed his body
whole. They searched for his body for days before giving up. A memorial statue was placed in
the remnants and rebuilding Hyrule castle town as its centerpiece with the master sword raised
above his head and raising his shield as if to block an attack. Revali found himself leading other
ritos driving back Ice-Breath lizalfos; there were too many gatherings which is odd.
“There's too many of them”
Revali muttered to himself notching an arrow and drew the bow back letting the string go. An fire
arrow shot forward piercing one of the ice breath lizaflos chest killing it instantly, six more arrows
flew past him striking six more killing those six with ease.
“Good work, let's glide to a better position and re attack”
Revali ordered using the wind from the mountains to bring himself higher, the six ritos followed
suit and notching another fire arrow in their talons, the seven drew the bows back and fired
more arrows striking seven more, killing the ice breath lizaflos instantly.
This isn't good, the ritos following my lead are near exhaustion. That's what eight more? Revali
thought to himself looking at the six ritos.
“All of you go back to the village to recouperate”
Revali ordered.
“But master revali-”
One of the ritos tries to argue before being cut off.
“You six are at your limits, I can still fight this isn't an request this is an order now move your
wings!”

Revali snapped taking the six by surprise, with a bit of hesitation they turned and headed back
to rito village.
“We've been fighting for half an hour, killing twenty eight ice breath lizaflos in the process. . .this
is not normal at all”
Revali muttered to himself notching three fire arrows and drawing the bow back. Firing the
arrows it pierced three more lizaflos before he flew in a circle and fired multiple fire arrows into a
swarm of lizalfos it took fifteen additional minutes to dispatch them all. He then landed on the
snow covered ground
“All done, thirty two down. . I do suppose that'll be all for now”
Revali said to no one in particular before taking a step.
“Hello revali, you are looking well”
A familiar voice said behind him, giving him pause no it couldn't. . . Slowly turning around he
was met with familiar blue eyes and blond hair which seemed to see through him, he looked just
like how he used to before he died but. . .how?
“L. . .”
He couldn't say his name, it felt like it was stuck in his throat. Memories seem to flash through
his mind, their first meeting, their rivalry, to something. . . More intimate and romantical.
“I see you're doing quite well”
Revali couldn't believe it was really him. But how is he still here? Wait, he shouldn't be here, he
bled out.
“. . .who in the name of Hylia are you?”
Revali asked quietly and in disbelief.
“Come on little birdy it's me”
Revali’s green eyes narrowed slightly at that comment.
“. . .I know what I see with my eyes are real, but I know that he died five years ago. Stop with
the lies! who in name of Hylia are you!!”
Revali shouted as the blond haired male sighed softly.

“. . .out of every champion i had you figured for the one that would be most problematic, rito
champion revali”
A surge of malice shot upwards, capturing the rito, in a malice cage. Revali's wings became
ensnared in malice as the cage started sinking into the ground.
“. . .hence why I took the precautions to weaken you and make you caught off guard. . .you may
have sealed me five years ago but in reality you sealed my physical body it was pure luck a
puddle of malice laid beneath this failure of a hero when he fell, of course it took considerably
effort to repair the body after all”
Revali's green eyes widened at the information.
“No. . .ganon. . .how?”
“I'll tell you this rito champion revali, you are arguably the most strongest due to potential and
due to hard work, which is why I targeted you first, sure I could've gone after the Zora princess,
the gerudo woman, the goron or that pathetic princess Zelda. You and the others are going to
watch helplessly as I destroy Hyrule and rebuilt it from scratch, but do not worry I'll make you all
as my servents”
His blue eyes flashed a dark black with yellow irises as malice seemed to ooze off him.
“link please I know you are in there somewhere, are you really ok with letting him corrupt you
like this?”
Revali pleaded, ganon laughed at the foolish words.
“you foolish rito, hylia’s chosen hero is dead. Her protection over him is gone. How else am I
able to corrupt his body and make him my servant?”
Despite that, revali saw a faint tear trail slide down the right side of Link's face.
“Li-!”
The malice disappeared into the ground, taking the rito champion with it.
“Now then, time to collect the others”
Ganon said to himself and started walking away, but every step seemed to feel heavier and
sluggish.
“. . .damn Hylia’s champion, you still persist in this body somewhere? Give it up, you died. I only
repaired and revived your body to make your body my slave, so pass on already!”

Ganon harshly said, as Link's body stiffened up before relaxing.
“. . .it would seem I managed to miss the point where you are truly gone. . .no matter, Hylia has
abandoned you and everyone thinks you are dead well. . .except for the rito that is”
